our mission
The Cuddlebug Foundation creates and donates custom plush animals designed to match the medical devices of their recipients. Our mission is to bring comfort, support, and representation to kids, teens, and adults living with chronic illnesses.
Each Cuddlebug is handmade with care—stitched with medical details like feeding tubes, insulin pumps, central lines, ostomy bags, and more—so every person can see themselves reflected in something soft and comforting.
We test every plush for safety and quality, and we send them out completely free of charge. Our goal is simple: to make sure no one feels alone in their medical journey. You can help by spreading the word, donating, or requesting a Cuddlebug for yourself or someone you love.
about the founder
The Cuddlebug Foundation was started by Zoë Browne, a 17-year-old who knows firsthand what it’s like to live with chronic illness. After years of treatments, hospital stays, and learning to speak up for herself, Zoë wanted to create something that could make others feel seen and supported.
Zoë dreams of becoming a Pediatric Occupational Therapist, continuing her mission to help kids feel safe, understood, and brave in the face of hard things. For her, the Cuddlebug Foundation isn’t just a project—it’s a piece of her story and her future.
